Pre Cooked Whole Wheat Pizza Shells in the ABM

Pre Cooked Whole Wheat Pizza Shells

Pizza is one of my family's favourite foods. Since changing our diets to a no oil,  whole foods plant based diet, eating take out pizza  is out of the question. So the only option is to make it yourself.  But when you crave pizza, who wants to wait for the dough to rise. The beauty of this recipe is that is can be made ahead, the pizza shells frozen and pulled out whenever you want/crave pizza. By the time the oven preheats, you can have your pizza topped and ready to pop in the oven. About 12 minutes later, you have delicious hot pizza . How awesome is that!

Ingredients
1 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar or sweetener of choice
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp ground bl pepper
2.5 cups whole wheat flour
1 Tblsp yeast
Instructions

Place all the ingredients into the bread maker as per the manufacturers instructions. Use the dough cycle.
Once the dough is ready, divide it into two equal pieces and place on a lightly floured surface. Roll separately into two rounds and place on separate baking sheets, lined with parchment paper.
Using a fork, make little holes all over the dough on both shells.
Brush with non dairy milk and let rise in a warm place with no drafts for about a half hour. I used my warming oven for this.
Brush the top with non dairy milk again and if necessary pierce the shell again with a fork. This will help stop large air bubbles from forming.
Bake in a preheated 425 F oven until nice and golden. Mine took about 8-12 minutes.
Cool on cooling racks or use right away.

To Bake Pre Made shells
Top as desired.
Place in a preheated 425 F oven for about 8-12 minutes.
Enjoy.
TIP
I like to keep these handy  in the freezer.  So I make them slightly smaller than a large zip lock bag. That way storage in the freezer is easy.
If using frozen shells do not bother to defrost, but baking time may need to be adjusted.

These could also be made without an ABM.
